Frequently Asked Questions

How many lessons will I need?
It depends on how much practice you get between lessons. Complete beginners usually need a longer run of lessons, while learners with plenty of supervised hours often need only a few before the test. We give you an honest assessment after the first lesson and update it as you progress.
Do you provide a car for the driving test?
Yes. The driving test package includes car hire for the test, plus a warm-up lesson beforehand so you sit the assessment in a car you already know, roadworthy and presented for assessment.
Which test centres do you cover?
We cover the VicRoads centres used across Melbourne's south-east and practise on the routes around each one, rather than teaching to a single centre. Tell us where your test is booked and we will plan lessons around those roads.
What car will I learn in?
Both. Lessons are in a 2025 Hyundai i30 sedan, automatic, with current safety features. Keep in mind that a Victorian licence obtained in an automatic restricts you to automatic vehicles until you pass in a manual.
