What these lessons cover

The test package is built for learners who are close to ready and want the day to go smoothly. It combines route familiarisation with car hire, so you are not sitting the assessment in an unfamiliar car or on roads you have never driven. Tell us which VicRoads centre your test is booked at and we plan the warm-up around the streets, turns, and manoeuvres that centre commonly uses.

What is included

In every booking

A warm-up lesson immediately before the test, on the test-route roads
Test-route familiarisation: the turns, lane changes, and manoeuvres your centre favours
Car hire for the test: a modern 2025 Hyundai i30 sedan, automatic, roadworthy and presented for assessment
A calm final run through of the reverse park, three-point turn, and hazard responses
Pickup and drop-off around the test centre

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the package include the VicRoads test fee?

No. The VicRoads booking and test fees are paid to VicRoads directly. The package covers the warm-up lesson and the car hire for the test.

Which test centres do you cover?

We cover the VicRoads centres used across Melbourne's south-east and practise on the routes around each one. Tell us where your test is booked and we plan lessons around those roads.

How much practice should I do before booking the package?

The package is not a shortcut to being ready. It works best once you can already drive independently and just need route knowledge and a car. We will give you an honest view after a lesson or two.

What if I am not ready on the day?

We would rather tell you early. If a warm-up lesson shows you are not test ready, we will say so and help you rebook rather than send you in to fail.
